JamieP
Its on a different coilover setup now, i found it to hard and bouncy on that kit so changed to a softer setup and all feels good now, still will call you next week about a new setup mate. Tony
How adjustable is the new kit... preload, bump/rebound and trim or just bump/rebound trim?

JamieP
How adjustable is the new kit... preload, bump/rebound and trim or just bump/rebound trim? Went back to a basic setup as i prefer it on the street, they are revalved bilsteins and custom spring that a very respected guy called Chris wilson builds for supras, seems to work well. Tony
I know of Chris Wilson very well and although we have never met his reputation precedes him with great admiration..... Nevertheless you do like to offer me a challenge don't you ... The units are three point fixed level trim adjusters, no preload adjustment, no bump/rebound adjustment..... Maybe i should talk to Chris and get a heads up on these before i calibrate the chassis It's going to be fun.......... Happy new year

89mustang
2 turbos, 1 supercharger, nitrous oxide injection along with methanol and water injection for charge cooling, if I remember correctly!
Tony
Oh my word, what's the life expectancy of this engine?
89mustang
Not long! It used to destroy heads whenever he drag raced it, they would crack across the middle plug hole. It was a bored and stroked 2.8 cologne engine, taken out to 4.1 in the end. About 675bhp in a 4 wheel drive cortina mk2. Escort cosworth turbos and Jag supercharger. He use dto have spare heads, diffs and box with him when he raced! Bit of a monster.
