Tony
What with the recent winter weather and ice you would think the owner of a Mercedes E-Class Elegance sport would be wise to the tyre condition Apparently not all...... Below are tyres removed from the front of the Merc Both front tyres were totally devoid of tread...... Disgusting in my opinion The only plus side is they have worn perfectly....... wonder who set the Geometry on this car six months ago
Rich
Should be banned from the road IMO...doesn't take a minute to check the tread and the state of those you wouldn't even need to turn the wheels!!
SMARTLY
Appalling, how many miles had he done in 6 months to wear them that much?
Tony
I didn't bother to ask..... Made me smile that he complained the car feels "it's slipping" on full lock?....... Oh really methinks
Steve-O
Slicks anyone !! PMSL Gross negligence of the automotive kind....
parthiban
Bloody hell those are proper slicks! Amazing to have done that in 6 months, surely he would have had no grip in the wet at all let alone on full lock. That's unbelievable, that guy deserves a slap and a driving ban
HighlandPete
No excuse for that what so ever, it frightens me that drivers can go about like that, while we are also on the road. Now there's a driver who, if spouting on about how one car is better than another, or handles better, etc., you'd not take seriously. True though innit....last road block I saw pulling cars in to check was around 4 years ago and that was the first one I had seen in a long time! SMARTLY
They have the NPR cameras and pulling crew round here, but if you have got tax, MOT, driving license and insurance you don't get stopped if the computer can read your number plate. Yaumeister
Too much reliance on cameras enforcing our roads, a real copper would have spotted it

Tony
I've been on a few "Police road stops" where they capture several cars and we inspect the tyres for legality. The reason we attend is the Police have no bloody idea how to analyse the tyres.

That has to be a joke...any fool can use a tyre guage to see how deep the tread is...in this case you could do it by eye!!!!!

Should talk the coppers into bringing the patrol cars in and on the ramps... make the best of a bad situation lol
