  1. Pretty useless in the UK then, considering the use of grit here means it's usually "wet" snow on the roads.
  2. If you are after a set of 15" steelies for a Ford Focus 5 stud, I still have mine which didn't fit my car, but they are genuine Ford Focus ones so depending on your individual car parts (mainly the front caliper), you can buy them off me. Happy to let you borrow one for a trial fit as long as you are willing to get to Northampton. Still don't get why they don't fit, maybe the sports pack? Since early make Focus (05-06) have 15" on LX spec I think, and the new Econetics have 15" as well.
  3. I got a Focus Zetec 57 reg, and last year I actually got a set of 15" steelies from Ford, and low and behold they DO NOT FIT, for some odd reason they don't clear the front calipers, and this was only discovered at WIM when they were being fitted, even though in the manual and door info both stated 15" would fit. My Ford dealer thought they got the wrong part but the numbers were correct so on a good will gesture they gave me a refund, but nevertheless a lot of hassle. So if you are planning please go for 16".
  4. My car started developing a tendency to pull to the left probably about a month ago, this is reflected with the steering wheel slightly pointing to the left at its natural position, and I have to counter it by slightly turning the wheel to the right for the car to go straight. Not sure whether it's connected to having sport dampers and stiffer anti roll bars fitted at the beginning of July, had the geo done then and rechecked two weeks ago but the problem persist. Pete @ WIM suggested swapping the tyres around, which I'll hopefully get round to this weekend, but thought I'll get a few more ideas in case that doesn't work either. Suggestions welcome, and thanks in advance.
  5. Congrats on your new red chariot, and I'm glad you went with classic British motoring.
  6. The moral of the video is... If you got it, flaunt it :laughingsmiley:
  7. It's not President Mugabe of Zimbabwe fame I hope
  8. Congrats and join the club, I swapped my Lexus for a Focus. Here's mine: Might be worthwhile joining http://www.ffoc.co.uk/
  9. Is it me or does the red make it look like it's made out of plastic? Plus, they can at least afford to hire a better looking model to stand next to the car!
  10. Congrats on the expansion Tony. If you need some undercover customers to test the centres out, let us know
  11. Onwards and upwards, all the best with your new job.
  12. And I thought I was unlucky to suffer a flat spotted wheel from a pot hole, and the new wheel is only £150 (although I'm still waiting for Ford to stock the wheel after 2 weeks). If it was me I would have took it back to Alfa and said this damn thing could have killed me, and demanded some compensation
  13. Too much reliance on cameras enforcing our roads, a real copper would have spotted it
  14. Got it, in simple terms if I don't have an existing understeer problem, I should maintain a balance between front and rear.
  15. More specifically, would you recommend upgrading both front and rear, or should the rear be stiffer then the front?
