Tony
As requested i did get a cordless vacuum car cleaner for Xmas And sorry to say it has less suck than an asthmatic aardvark blowing up a balloon. So I've had a look online but it's a minefield of better claims by all? Price seems suspended high by cordless vac's so I'm not to concerned by cordless or not providing it's agile enough to get around the cabin and suck. SMARTLY
Ask Rich think he got one from B&Q.
Rich
I have this one - https://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=15102 If you're disappointed with the one you have you won't like this neither. TBH I've not used it inside much but it's great for the MX5 roof.

CP09
Best vacuum I bought for car/house was the Vax 6131 - vacuum/shampooer. We found B&Q had one for about £65 (special sales offer), don't look at the non-offer prices! Great for vacuuming the car upholstery, then can also be used to give the fabric and carpets a quick shampoo. It's also quite happy plugging into my power sander and plane to reduce the dust/shavings. Best of all, it's good as a domestic carpet shampooer (but cumbersome for a domestic vacuum) so you can get brownie points for the indoor use as well.... Rich
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dyson-v6-trigger-vacuum-new-with-2yr-warranty-9999-aldi-2870315 What about that. I'm assuming you want cordless and small to save lugging it out of the house.

Rich
Try this - https://www.aldi.co.uk/dyson-v6-trigger-vacuum/p/083145197591000 I have no idea what it's like but should be better than the cheap handheld ones.

SMARTLY
I had the DC06 and upgraded to the DC08 vacuum from Dyson, mine were the multi-purpose ones that do floor as well as stairs, edges and car. Great vacuums.
Tony
My hang up was a £400 Dyson bought mainly to pick up dog hairs on my wooden floor.....Six months later i binned it and named it crap.
Viking
And just think, a smaller less powerful Dyson costing a quarter of that is going to be only a quarter as good.
Tony
It's tempting
Viking
The Henry is the same amount of money, and is unlikely to need a new supply of electricity after 20 minutes. And it'll certainly out perform a Dyson handheld for suction power. However, and pointed out a Vax would also be a good investment, given that you also get the upholstery cleaning capability. I have a Vax 6151SX in the garage which I use only for wet work.
Tony
We use one at work and it picks up all manor of crap there.... Wonder if they do a hand held version?
Viking
Numatic don't do handhelds. Why? Because the very fact it's hand held would put it in the category of the one (and all the others) you've already tried. What they do do is a Henry cordless... http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6268011
Tony
That's quite clever and not a bad price.
SHAHZ
I had the DC06 and upgraded to the DC08 vacuum from Dyson, mine were the multi-purpose ones that do floor as well as stairs, edges and car. Great vacuums. I agree we have had a couple of these, I think we are on the V6 at the moment, wouldn’t be without it!! Yes the battery life is not huge, but it’s not meant to be a replacement for a full size vac, but for in between use. That said, I’m able to vac the whole of the Chrysler and the Mats is one charge! SMARTLY
The V8 has twice the battery time
Tony
My main desire is suction. I should think an add on nozzle increases this better than an open mouth type i have now?
SHAHZ
The V8 has twice the battery time Yeap, am going to upgrade
Rich
I'm not a Dyson fan but the handheld version does look handy for these kind of jobs. If the V8 get to £100 I might be tempted.
