You dont powder coat then paint!

For power coating you acid dip the wheel, clean, blast, repair then powder coat.

Paint is same process but with paint afterwards.

I dont know how / why you would want to paint a proper powder coated finish

The guy doing the work comes highly recommended from people who have had their wheels refurbed by him , he has told me this is what is being done. I have only paid a deposit ATM & if I'm not happy then he will have to sort it out if his own pocket. Simples.

A question for Adam & Rich, running 17's on the Accord, what tyre pressures would you recommend? I will need to up the pressure on the rear by 1 or 2psi due to weighty ICE install over standard 17's I'd guess. I'm thinking possibly 34/35 front & rear?

The sticker in my door says 33 front and 32 rear. I was running the front at 32 cos I liked the extra grip but have increased them recently to 34 to see if it improves mpg, which I think it has slightly. I've read on TA that some people go higher than that but I wouldn't go higher than 34 personally.
