I had a FTO auto once, and the gearbox was stuck in 3rd gear, got on to someone who knows about FTOs and 1st question he asked was, has the battery gone flat ? well yes it needed a new one as car had been stirring in a garage for sometime, he said put new battery on, drive the car 125k and it will reset it's self, i thought yer right, but i tried and it worked, happy days as i had bought it with gearbox problem so got it cheap

If you buy Genuine parts and get independent garage (vat reg) to do the work, the warranty should still be ok

I got invited by lexus Stockport, each uk lexus dealer got the chance to take up to 3 customers and one member of staff, to test drive the new RC-F in spain Lexus Europe footing the bill, private jet and 5* hotel for 2 days We got to take the car around the track for 30mins with private instructor. IS-F drifting was also part of the track day. Car was fantastic the sound alone my old Audi S4 never sounded like the RC-F it was the 1st time lexus have ever done anything like this with customers
