liner33
The event photographers snapped this pic on Saturday, they didnt charge me as it was so washed out , but i like it and it shows the spacers make the wheels fit so well
parthiban
That's an awful pic if they were pros! But yes the spacers look great, rear wheels are nicely filling those arches.

Tony
Looks real nice...... Did fitting the front spacers make the steering feel any lighter?
liner33
yeah it feels awful but I'm a victim of looks over function
Tony
Reason i asked is the spacers move the tyres contact patch outside of the steerings pivotal point..... You can project it back by changing the camber but it would be toward positive.
liner33
There is no camber adjustment on the front unfortunatly , I'll put it on the machine at work next week and post the measurements
NickT
yeah it feels awful but I'm a victim of looks over function I'm completely the opposite. I see beauty in functionality !
liner33
New video , the noise at the 19 seconds point was my front nearside tyre failing , dunno why yet but put an end to the day new PB though 12.5 seconds at 117.98mph
Tony
Strange because it didn't sound like a blow out? Nevertheless you handled it well and the PB is yet another target to beat
liner33
Strange because it didn't sound like a blow out? Nevertheless you handled it well and the PB is yet another target to beat I think it may have been a screw coming out of the tyre , there are a lot of screws near work in the gravel where the car was parked so it may have picked one up and it came out when i hit 120 ish Bit of a pain it took 10 mins to go from 40 psi down to 17-18 , with no local suppliers with a 245/40/19 tyre i had to drive home and keep stopping every 10 mins
Tony
For future reference put another screw in the hole and maybe some tyre-seal, sounds a bit odd but it would get you home.
Rich
That must've been nerve-racking! Wouldn't it have been easier to get recovery to take you home than keep stopping? Tony - What if you don't have another screw and tyre seal?!
Tony
Didn't say it was a perfect solution...... More an option.

Tony - What if you don't have another screw and tyre seal?! or a jack Havent taken the wheel off and checked the tyre yet , just assuming that its a screw I do have tyre seal in the car but i'm am considerate to tyre fitters and would only ever use it as an emergency As for recovery they wont collect you from a drag strip . i'd have had to go a fair way away and once I started it just mde sense to take it easier and stop every now and then
