Nice blog... looks really good.

:offtopic: what happened to your hand?

dislocated and shattered the index finger bone, :)

had to have metal pins drilled into it to hold it together :)

Oh wow... I'm really sorry to read that mate.. I hope things mend for you real soon :)

Evening Bazza, everyone...

it's good to see another EP being given the proper treatment

Not wanting to hijack your thread here, but my EP in its current trim weighs in at 760kg and with 203hp at the wheels that's an impressive 300+ hp per tonne. All on the blog www.night-spirit.co.uk/blog

JonB said you may be looking for a cage too? I come across those fairly regularly on my travels...let me know if you need any help!

  • 2 weeks later...

i will not be entering the Time Attack series this year !

although the application was accepted, with the car being touch and go wether it was/is going to be ready, and the entrance fee of £1500 i didnt want to chance not being ready and loosing out

it is however competing in the Toyota Sprint Series, and due its first race on March 16th :P

as the engine is still in the process of being rebuilt, (as normal a few problems delay these things), so in the meantime the spare engine has now been installed, which hopefully will allow the first race to happen

as soon as its over, the new engine will then get installed

good news is the inside is complete and ready to go

the list of events are as follows:

16th March - Waterbeach

4th May - Barkston Heath

14th June - Teesside (Light)

17th August - Woodbridge

25th October - Teesside (Dark)

each track being very different from the others will make a challenging series, especially as the cars range from the Fensport Corolla to 1.0 L yaris`s

will try and get a few pics later

Out of interest are you having the chassis set.... If yay how adjustable is the chassis now?

will be ....when you open :crying_anim:

chassis wise nothings changed since the last time you set it up

to be honest its done very little mileage or had much input to work out what it needs

hopefully that will change soon

:sick01:

picked up the new forged engine last night, sadly to late for installing before next weekends race !

still the good news is

it now has the spare engine fitted,

and after a hell of lot of other work

today was the time to turn the key after 6 months

and much to my surprise it started first time

sticking the shafts back in tomorrow and will be out on a test drive

measured the db`s from the exhaust.......114db !!

so need to loose at least 10 of them

then just leaves the mot to get :)
