Rich
I love lego, shame it's so expensive and I don't have much room to keep them. The little kits are good but I don't get as much satisfaction from building them as they don't take long.

Rich
Thought I'd bump this thread rather than start another but anyone seen this? I used to love Ghostbusters in the 80s and had all the action figures. Really tempted to get it as it's not too big. I've moved since this thread started and have even less space to display them but they hold their value well so could put them in the loft. The bat mobile goes for over £150 on ebay now! http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Ghostbusters-Ecto-1-21108
Geoffers
Ghostbusters was brill! Tempted to get it myself.
Rich
I think I will probably get it, it will definitely increase in value when they stop making it. The headquarters is even better, the detail inside is amazing and 4634 pieces!! Not cheap though!! http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Firehouse-Headquarters-75827
Tony
Wow that's a lot of money for some plastic!...... Ok true there will probably be a return but is the expected gain worth the wait?
Rich
I wouldn't be buying it for the money it might make in the future but for the enjoyment of making it. I will only buy Lego that I know will hold it's value though like these limited editions. I really wish I had bought the camper van one when it was out, it goes for too much now. It might be expensive for plastic but don't forget they have to employ people to design these, create the instructions and packaging and so on, it all adds up. I bet most of us couldn't just get a box of Lego and create something like these
P4UL T
Great thread, don't know how I missed it. My son has loads of Lego (spoilt by his 6 aunts), I love playing with it as much as he does. Some of his collection.
Rich
Your son has some great sets there Paul, he's a lucky boy I didn't get the Ghostbusters one but Lego sent me a £10 discount code last week and the temptation was too much so I bought this! adam_r
How much was that
Rich
£70 with the discount! The missus was impressed! I'm not going to make a habit of spending that much though and it'll hold it's value, if not increase.
adam_r
Yes.. Only if you keep it in box
Rich
Where's the fun in that, I want to build it! I binned the box for my Batmobile, I don't know why I cos I religiously keep boxes for items of value but even without it, it's worth £100+, which is more than double what I bought it for.
