Rich
In the garden today doing jobs and I saw this moth, it's a Jersey Tiger. The top part of the wings are camouflage and the bottom bright red but I only saw that when it flew away.
Tony
Nice clear image.... I've never seen a butterfly like that before.
Geoffers
Great that you got that close. It reminds me of a Vulcan bomber

Rich
It flew off the first time I tried to get the photo so had to be very quiet when it landed on the leaf. It knew I was there! Yes it does look like the Vulcan Bomber. I wonder if that's a coincidence. We went for an evening walk last night and came across some donkeys. Rich
Some from this week. The beach at Happisburgh in Norfolk. We went to a nature reserve/garden yesterday that we have driven past countless times before. Decided to take a look this time and it's really scenic. Free to park and walk around, they just ask for a donation. Right next to the river Ant too. This is the local community run pub with a small shop next door. They cycle around the village making deliveries for those who are shielding or can't get out.
Geoffers
It looks lovely there. Had a look on Google maps satellite view and the open space and beach right along really does look good.
Rich
It awesome, love it here. Hopefully it'll be home one day. Some of the village names are pronounced completely differently to how they're spelt. Happisburgh for instance is pronounced as haze-bruh. Did you see the red and white lighthouse on Google? We've walked around it but not been inside. It's a beautiful building. I have taken photos of it before but don't think I've put them on here. There is a lighthouse in Winterton too that was sold and converted to a holiday home. It was featured on one of the homes by the sea shows. Rich
Some from a walk a few weeks back. Difficult to believe all of this countryside has the M25 running through it and now we've got HS2 to ruin it even further! Whoever carves these is very talented
Geoffers
It does look lovely there and the carvings are amazing.
Rich
The nature reserve we went to before (above) we went to again today as we didn't do it all the first time. I could easily stay there all day looking at the view and taking photos
Tony
What a wonderful place to live.
Rich
I would love to live there, one day it will happen. I really fancy a week on a boat but one those holiday's are expensive and two the missus feels sick when on them!
Rich
Just been for a walk and as I got halfway down my road I didn't realise just how visible the HS2 works are on the horizon!
SMARTLY
Where are the works the Rich, Long Lane, Maple Cross?
Rich
West Hyde, off Chalfont Lane. They have made a right mess of the countryside! Also works going on in Denham and in Amersham they're building a massive ventilation shaft. https://youtu.be/yxObryGVaAk
adam_r
Hail frozen on top of a local pond. Looked rather weird.
Rich
Great photos Adam. I love looking at ice patterns, especially icicles. It's never been cold enough the last few years for them to form.
Rich
It was nice to finally get away again at the weekend. Missed being in Norfolk and we ate out on the Sunday. It was a bit chilly but the scenery made up for that. Visited an owl sanctuary. Walk along the coast. Fed the ducks! Dinner by the broads. Someone ran out of talent on the way home!
