Security conscious?!

I've just done an advert for a house in Middlesex and when I saw the lounge photo I thought what's that next to the TV, it looks like another smaller one. So I zoomed in and it's a CCTV TV/monitor, the house has 16 cameras!!  :o It's worth £1.2m but come on, do you really need that many unless you're a gangster or something.

It must be distracting watching the TV aswell!

That's pretty crazy! Not the best advert to move there is it!

How do you know there are 16 cameras? Can only see 9 on the screen?

No it's not and it's only a semi detached in a normal road in Kingsbury - why all the security!

It says in the specs :)

front privacy glass

full 16 camera CCTV system throughout

2 X professional alarm system

full covering security lighting front, side & rear

It may have, the "front basement level walkways, locked access" seemed strange as well. No shots of external doors from inside and seems like, maybe blackout, roller blinds on front windows. If it was my house I would not declare that much security details in a for sale advert. Naive?

Having security features is probably ok, but those screens dotted around the house showing multiple cameras makes it look really dodgy.

And the price is even worse - money laundering maybe?

I did wonder that, I bet it sells for cash!

I would not buy that house, even if you removed all the cameras and screens you're still going to wonder why they were all there in the first place!
