SMARTLY
Had an accident this afternoon with a tub of P21S, was talking to a lady waling her dogs and waving my arms a bit with the tub in my hand. The tun stayed put but the lump of was went flying and then rolled down my drive picking up grit and gravel on the way. Rescued some of it by trimming about 5mm off all round the edges and it's now fine. About £10 worth went down the sink What I want to know is can I put it in a bowl of warm/hot water to soften / melt it so it fits the pot better? Or will it lose it's consistency. Rich
It's a wax Tony and yes Steve you can melt it down no problem.
SMARTLY
Cheers Rich, I'll give it a go in the morning. Then it's less likely to fall out again Tony look here ( it's called R222 now ): http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/r222-car...x/prod_357.html

Tony
Cheers for the heads up...... Personally i wouldn't risk it, if it's contaminated i wouldn't dare putting on my paint.

I think the contaminated portions have been removed, the melting is just to make it fit in the pot better so it doesn't fall out again

SMARTLY
Well I tried boiling water in a dish - nothing. Microwave on full for 2 minutes and the container was getting very hot but the wax was solid
