Just a small write up of a detail on my own car.

Car is Skoda Octavia vRS which is not quite standard  .

Process

Hosed off all dust etc as we have construction site near work so gets extremely dusty

Two bucket was using Dodo Born to be Mild shampoo

Wheels cleaned with Valet Pro Bilberry and various brushes. Sealed with Werkstatt Prime and Poorboys wheel sealant

Decontaminated with Aurtosmart Tardis and clayed using Sonus Green and Swissvax paint rubber

Dual action machine polished using Menzerna 203s, followed by Werkstatt Prime on a glazing pad

Three layers of Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger sealant for bling finish

Autosol on tailpipe and engine dressed with Aerospace 303 protectant

Only finished photos but you get the idea

Looks like wet glass..... Well done that man.

I don't recall seeing a yellow vRS before, how rare is this colour.

Pretty rare considering it is a stock colour. With the range of Blue, Silver, Black, Red or Yellow at launch, I think most people opted for a bit more of a resellable colour.

Still, it has grown on me quite a bit.

Need to dress the arches but they look worse for the camera flash.

Looks nice  A neighbours got a Leon Cupra in yellow and every panel is a different colour through sun bleach looks real $hit

Thanks very much. The problem on your neighbour's car is due to UV instability in the colour coat. The lacquer will be fine, but because of the instability underneath it can't be addressed without a respray. The SEAT colour code is OVNI yellow and is a big issue on various forums.

Mine is Sprint yellow and is unaffected.

Christian from Invisible touch detailing removed the bloom from my 20yr old Esprit, don't ask me how he done it since the bloom is under the clear coat, but he did :D

Sounds more like it's oxidised than bloom, isn't that a term decorators use? If it was under the clearcoat there's no way of removing it without having a respray.

The clearcoat has been UV damaged as said, which makes the paint look cloudy and dull. Just needs to be machined polished with a compound to bring it back to life.

Nice i use 303 on the interior trim as well on my race blue VRS

Are those 17 or 18 " wheels ??

They're 17s. Wish that I had 18s sometimes but at least tyres are cheaper!

My VRS came with 18inch wheels, they look the same as your wheels, do they also make them in 17inch then ?
