These tyres are from the front of a Transit delivery van..

I asked how long they had been on..... "not long" was the reply..... I asked "did you find this by chance then?"..... He said "nah i knew something was wrong but now the noise is getting on me t*t's".

 

Reluctantly he let us measure the chassis and we found this

The wounded area is the passenger front Toe angle

At nearly two degrees wrong i looked for "a reason" so i asked if any work had been done in that area?..... The reply was "nah, it probably smacked a kerb or soming".

 

I got the impression this chap was not overly bothered....... About anything :rolleyes:

was it his van or compony van ? If compony van no one usually care's about them

 

Have you been on the alcohol free beer again :rolleyes: ....... I'm not sure who owned the van although i get the impression he goes.

That's shocking, how can anyone drive with tyres in that state! :)

 

Did they let you adjust the toe that was out then? I doubt they could've driven that van safely with the toe being out that much.

Yep we corrected the reason for the wear, i cannot explain how the problem evolved but it is sorted now.

 

As for safety...... Come on, it's a white van man!
