Rich
How can it twist whether it's sitting level or on an incline. I can't see how that can happen.
Tony
Weight distribution plus i had removed the rear turret brace while fitting the new engine cover...... All that and add some hot weather is why i think it's twisted.
phipck
Wow, I never really thought about twisting like that from being on an incline! I thought the suspension would give it all the flex it would need
Tony
The OSR wheel arch has cracked and the hatch when closed has a gap between it and the wing. This is why i think it's twisted, but i don't know for sure but I can't think what else it could be?
phipck
It could be warping if it’s fibreglass like you say. Heat and cold cycles can twist fibreglass I believe

Tony
I took the brace off a few months back while i was sizing the engine cover.... I haven't driven the while it's been off though.
Rich
Is the brace connected to the suspension or the bodykit?
Tony
Rear suspension turrets and fire-wall. Being a soft-top and fibreglass is a delicate mix and i think i got it wrong. In addition, i didn't realize fibreglass is fundermentally a fluid so it dry's out and becomes brittle. And i think this is where my current problem has been born. Rich
Does that mean it does connect to the bodykit then? Could be an expensive mistake then if it has actually twisted. I'm assuming fibre glass can't just be twisted back.
Tony
I've weighted the side of the rear hatch so that it gently eases the corner back. Today i bought 1ltr of paint ready to have the door pillar repaired and painted.... £90 a ltr
Rich
Is the corner getting it's shape back then? Why does the door pillar need repairing and painting? Hopefully you'll be able to use the car soon. How long has it been off the road!!
Tony
On parking last year the poxy cat jumped out of the grass meaning my reaction to avoid it i hit the fence. This pushed the wing up and cracked the fibreglass that goes around the screen. I should have run the bloody cat over!!! ! I've repaired the crack but now it needs painting. I've not driven the car this year apart for an MOT and now it's passed i still don't want to drive it! I think my problem is i enjoyed the chase making it look Ferrari and not i have the fun has gone. A Lambo is going to be my next project i think. Rich
I thought you had already painted where that damage was. Are you doing it yourself then? If you don't enjoy driving the car then maybe it's time to move it on. You've got a lot of money tied up in it so I just hope you get as much back as you can. Tony
I've had the rear wing repainted by Berko body shop and then the hatch by my mobile smart repair guy. The door pillar broke when parking the car but since it needs fibreglass repair so i left till last. Well since I'm not driving the car i might as well have it repaired and next year I'll sell it. The car owes me about £20k and cost me £15k so I'll sell it for around £17.50k but I'm not a desperate seller so it's that or nothing. Rich
I really hope you do get that but I think you'll struggle to get your £15k back nevermind more. I've not seen any sell for close to that so you might be waiting a long time.
Tony
Now DNA are no longer trading Ferrari replicas since they were top of the field the value has increased., plus since I'm not a desperate seller I'll wait for the right price. Rich
I just wouldn't get your hopes up, it's a buyer's market out there and a niche one. How long are you prepared to wait for the right price? How soon do you want a Lambo project?
Tony
Both next year..... If i don't get what i want for the 360 I'll just keep it..... I don't really need the money.
Tony
Had the NSF door and rear quarter sprayed today and it looks perfect...... Needless to say winter is here so it's time to cover the car and wait until March.
Rich
Is it wise to cover the car straight after a respray?
Tony
He does put an activator to harden the top coat.... I just let it breathe before i cover the car just in case the cover marks the paint.
