Tony
I'm not to sure how to take this clip?..... Has the pilot displayed total disregard to the safety for those using the pool or using his/ her piloting skills during desperate times? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=f33_1373919772
adam_r
looks planned and tbh any close water source is good! everyone was out the pool and looked very safe to me
GamithUK
After reading Chickenhawk it's amazing what experienced helicopter pilots can get away with.
Rich
Nobody was in the pool and I'd imagine these pilots are very good at what they do so the risk is minimal.
parthiban
It looks as though the pool has been evacuated for this purpose so unless it was a stunt it appears to be a genuine emergency. Pretty awesome in any case - probably the angle but it looks like the blades get quite close to the lampposts?
Tony
I think you are right and the people at the pool had warning..... It's a different world in these fire zones so maybe it's an everyday event during the sunny season?
