So what if the roof firm went bust, it's the landlords problem, you just want it fixed.

We bought the building so it's not that easy.

 

Tony - worth checking if you have a collateral warranty or if the installation of the roof (despite the installer going bust) is covered by an insurance backed warranty.

 

I would expect that a building of this age (less than 10 years) has a warranty of that sort of period for the roof?

 

Any idea who the installer was and what the system installed is, as they are usually just a subsidiary of a larger firm like Sarnafil, Flag Alwitra etc.?

 

(I am a very boring Architect by the way!)
