Rich
Someone on another forum bought some springs, which don't fit his motor although he was told they will. He is thinking of cutting a coil off so they fit in the seat properly. Bad idea and I think it's very dangerous but for what reasons would it be? Tony
Many things here.... 1: If the coil is "pig tailed" it won't fit the perch any more 2: If the coil is progressive the rate will change 3: If the damper is not adjustable the rebound will be pants 4: The damper stock will be compromised on bump and could bottom out Trim springs are for Somalia... scorps
If all goes wrong it will cost you more than a set of proper lowering springs.
