I think the opposite, it stands out from the road surface noticeably. Could be different at night though depending on the lighting. jammy Posted February 12, 2020 Report Share Posted February 12, 2020 When i lived in ashford (kent) there was that pop up bollard in operation and a transit van thought he could be ut before it went up. There way a young boy in the passenger seat who tragically died as it went up through the passenger foot well... I think the force of the bollard stopping the van through the boy on to the bollard as it came through the floor..
