Tony
Once again be sure they give you a printout because most dealers don't.
NickT
You would think that the industry would be regulated or have training. How can the machines like Hunter make it any easier than giving full graphical data and the "Move that yellow pointer triangle into the green area" for daily driver cars ? I need a beer
Tony
The industry regulates it's self with "MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS" and the Hunter machine software is designed to "steer" excuse the pun the operator into the green.
Gman
Well went back into my local garage this afternoon.. spoke about the alignment again... first one the blokes said positive toe is toe out .... good start ! 🙄 They then look up my car data on their computer.. and reckon for my car it should be +0.3mm .. they reckon this would of been the factory set up. 🤔
Tony
+- 3/10th of a mm isn't worth the argument albeit a concern for the rest of the angles.... Best thing to do is get a printout from them when it's done and post is here so we can validate it

Tony
Sometimes the geometry tells us what's not wrong and your report is spot on...... Tell me have you got the same make of tyres on the front?
Gman
Yes two Michelin PS4 brand new .. been out tonight and the front end is pulling both left n right ! I'm lost with this ! only thing I can think is maybe a wheel is slightly bent / out of balance... ? Going to have to swap wheels back to front and then see what it's like ...
Tony
If a wheel is damaged you would feel vibration normally under 30mph...... Move the tyres as you say and if it's the same move them again side-to-side.
NickT
Have the tyres been fitted correctly ie because they are asymmetric, that they have been set so that the marking on the tyre "outside" is facing towards you when you look at the tyre ?
Gman
Pretty sure they are fitted correctly.. but I will double check. I'm not sure what is causing it?
Tony
What we need to do is eliminate and move on.

Tony
Both the items i quoted above call cause that.
Gman
Ok thanks really appreciate your help , it's looking more likely it may have to go into Ford .
Tony
Move those tyres first.
Gman
Going to be moving tyres later today backs to front . Car actually seems worse now after swapping fronts side to side. Thinking back one thing I thought was strange at time of fitting was the guy said bloody hell these tyres are hard to blow up..? Can you misfit tyres that would cause a similar problem?
Tony
No, i would think the tyres have been stacked and squished the bead/ sidewall, quite common.
