GamithUK Posted March 3, 2012 Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 Well it looks as though they tried to do the right thing - the blast seemed to be on the far side, so that side should have blown out and the tower should have collapsed on that side, which I assume is the side they wanted. Alternatively blasting in rings from the top down should have bought it down pretty much straight (going from bottom to top doesn't work because of potential damage to the det lines) which takes up more explosives but is a lot more likely to work.
