This one is fascinating to watch.

 

A student at Harvard University built a device with a series of fifteen pendulums mounted in a row, each one of them slightly longer than its neighbor so that the oscillations were tuned. The pendulums were set into motion and the result was captured on video. The patterns that appear in this short video are fascinating to watch and to think about.

I often think of light particles oscolating at different frequencies and what effect that has on our visual perception of light, ...

 

Judging by the content of most of Tony's posts I rather doubt he considers oscillating light particles, but he certainly makes my mind boggle! -_- :lol:
