phipck Posted September 16, 2011 Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 some form of catastrophic frame failure! ok bikes arnt designed to hit the floor like that but i normally see them bounce a little more that that. unless of course its a special crash safety device, like a crumple zone for bikes, it falls apart on impact so instead of one large heavey lump flying at you, you have lots of smaller less heavy lumps which would cause less injury?
