Tony
25.000 cars data in our data bank...... Linked to world web-spec's and no TVR chassis data is available kinda odd don't you think...... Maybe there's some build issues and they don't want comparative data
Rich
So what do you compare the angles to after measuring the chassis?
Tony
I have to phone around to gather information, problem is i don't know if it's official~?

CIH
I'll try and find some proper sources but there's a campaign to maintain a Euro directive that makes OEM diagnostic information avaliable to aftermarket repairers ie; outside of the dealer network. IIRC it's mainly intended for engine diagnostics but surely geo data should be avaliable under the same principles ? The campaign is called "Right to Repair", btw. Would be handy with Mercedes too, ofcourse.

Ok this may sound a wee bit strange but if there is not accurate data for a specific make and model is it not an idea to say ask someone you know or advertise for someone to lend you a vehicle so that measurements could taken and stored thus building an accurate data base? hms
But how do you know the settings on the loan machine are correct? h
e4tnu
:blink Would it not be possible to set the car up with one set of angles then test drive store the data then so on until you have enough information, then could not that data be simply cherry picked to get the optimum settings?:
Tony
There are known templates depending on the suspension type but for the domestic car it would be nice to have the OEM spec.
