CIH
So more Info (not much tho) Not as wild as some of Suzuki's rocketships and it could easily be a Focus (they look so damn similar).

Tango
It's a bit of a joke for Ford to promote their Fiesta through these rallycross cars though, in the same way as the Ford Focus in WRC. The cars have nothing in common with the road going machinery at all, as the chassis is tubular steel space frame, the mechanical components are completely different and even the body and trim panels are bespoke. The cars are not even built by Ford, the WRC cars are built by M-Sport in their Dovenby Hall premises by a team led by Malcolm Wilson, and the same organisation maintains the cars throughout the season although paid for primarily by BP and the Ford motor company. It's also no coincidence that the 'Fiesta' bears more than a passing resemblance to the 'Focus' WRC car, as many of the components are shared between the two. Marcus Gronholm is another shared resource between the two . The Ford car driven by Gronholm at Pikes Peak is being prepared by the Olsberg Motor Sport Evolution team, but the second 'Fiesta' is being run/raced by the Olsberg team itself. Ford intend to use the event as a marketing exercise ahead of the launch of the Ford Fiesta in the States, but it's a con on the American public to try and relate the Pikes Peak car to the family hatchback that is planned to go on sale in the US later this year. CIH
To be fair to Ford that's been the case for many years now. Ever seen a 4WD turbo Xsara, or 206 etc ? It's really more of a silhouette formula.
