Just takes bloody ages drilling out those damn strut top screw-tab things. And this one fought me all the way so it took like 2hrs total.

 

Astras are good. The rear beam has like 20" toe adjustment if you shove it hard enough. It didn't actually need that much, but it was interesting to see.

 

Are you talking about the ones with the alen hex or the domed ones.

Pull to the right and offset steering wheel (thrust & front camber), potentially some instability under braking (front camber) and distressed tyre wear on the rear. Castor looks a smidge low too for an MX5 ?

 

Did it come in like that or did you set it specifically for the pictures ?

Never thought about thrust in those terms TBH. If anything, I'd have expected the front camber to counter any left-pushing force(s) ?

 

Thrust to these values has the rear trying to overtake the front, the driver has to resist this hence the complaint, don't forget these are also the drive wheels.
