Clive Underhill
Having done a couple ot track days in an unmodified MX-5 with the standard "Sport Tech" suspension (yellow Bilstein shocks), I would like to improve the suspension to reduce roll in corners and lower the car slightly from stock. I do about 7-8k miles in the car on the roads every year and also plan to do two or three track days per year. I was attracted by the Eibach lowering springs but many people seem to go for replacement springs and dampers which is at significantly higher cost. I understand the appeal of adjustability on track, but are there any benefits of coilovers for road use?

Rich
Dropbox is a PITA when it comes to embedding photos in forums! The link you used isn't actually a direct URL for the photo, although it looks like one, which is why it doesn't show. You need to replace the text after the extension with ?raw=1 So the URL will look like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/89yx6hac3y2ybdk/DSC_0798%20edited.jpg?raw=1 Welcome to the forum as well
Tony
Coilovers allow much better control and reduce the centre of gravity but i would suggest better roll bars and adjustable drop-links to reduce that roll on transition.
