SHAHZ
Well bolts in the Beemer case... Anyone recommend some good quality brands/suppliers you may have used, my ones are a little aged and don't really want to use them with the new rims! Tony
Does the wheel supplier offer a range. Reason i ask is it's easy to buy nice looking nuts/studs but you need to ensure the tapper is correct.
SHAHZ
Funny enough that was the second question! If I put up a close up of the pic, can you establish what type it is? Will try and contact zito to ask if they supply them!
Rich
After market wheels usually have a 60 degree taper.
Tony
Agreed but it has to be correct or it could come off.
SHAHZ
Not the best picture of the rim, but assume this is the 60 degree taper you guys are referring to Which will require a bolt like this...
Tony
I would be chuffed with those pictures ..... Looks about 60d but length is a very important consideration. To long and the inboard rear handbrake shoes will be smashed and to short the wheels will be a bouncing down the road memory.
SHAHZ
Cheers Tony, just got a price from a well known retailer in bm wheels for £26 including locking nuts so will confirm length with them!
SHAHZ
Locking bolts are TPI, anyone ever heard of them?

Tony
Same type as my Vectra then..... They work fine providing their not over tightened like mine were and they snap

Tony
I must say they are one of the hardest to remove if you lose the key.
SHAHZ
What the BMW or TPI?
Tony
TPI, the BMW ones are easy to get off.
NickT
http://www.dynomec.co.uk/ Took my car to them years ago to remove my locking wheel nuts after vauxhall dealer broke my locking wheel nut. All 4 done in about 30 minutes. I'm sure I posted this before
Tony
I like the spare wheel. Shame it's only five stud though.
