  1. Exhaust design is all about scavenging. You want one exhaust flow to pass the collector as a matching cylinder's exhaust valves are just opening. This causes the exhaust gasses from that cylinder to get 'sucked' out at a higher flow rate. If done properly the exhaust flow should be incredibly smooth and also you will gain power
  2. One would assume they have tanks along the side of the hull that water can be pumped in to. Once its over far enough the wood slips off and they empty the tanks to get level again
  3. Good luck putting the cork back in the bottle Tony!
  4. Multi rotors are powered by AC motors. They have LOTS of torque at 0 rpm. So as they slow down their torque increases. They are very dangerous compared to an IC engine.
  5. I bet tge guy that got hit didnt feel a thing. The car launched itself off the curb and hit at almost head height. Also in the video he does not even react before he is hit Not nice though
  6. Zircon... You need to take my comments with a bit of common sense. I think your best bet is to do the following: 1) adjust the top mount setting about 3/4 way to full negative camber(this does not need to be exactly 3/4) 2) stick wheel on and see where you camber lies..... Then use your cam adjuster to dial in the negavitve camber till its almost there ( check clearence between tyre and coil) 3) use the top mount adjuster to fine tune your camber. Both adjusters play a part in how the camber effect the hub angle in relation to the strut angle. Both important and both need to be adjustef in unison
  7. I thought what i sais was basic geometry though? I would have though that the tyre was touching the coil even before changing camber at the topmount? Changing camber at the top mount wont make the distance bewteen the tyre and coil and different as they should alter as one. Only the cam adjuster will effect the distance between the tyre and coil
  8. If you draw too much camber in in the top mounts, can you not then apply 'positive' camber to the cam adjuster at the bottom of the strut to then keep the tyre away from the coil? Or even better, give max positive camber the cam adjusters provide then try and dial in to the correct negative camber using the top mounts
  9. Beautiful colours in its coat and head... Wish i could take photos like that!
  10. Honda built the i-cdti out of ally back in 2003..... My 2.2i-cdti was ally great engine and not much heavier than the 2.4petrol engine.
  11. Check your diff mounting as tony states. If it where to left on brake and lift off i would have pointed my finger at the front wishbone bushes...but because it only occures during lift off... I.e a torque change and minor deceleration... Its probably movement on the left side of the diff.
  12. I would hint at a bush. Try this: Go to an empty car park, in 1st gear and floor it. Does it pull one way when the power is applied? When braking which was does the car go? When on lift off which way goes the car go?
  13. And why the fu k have the fuel hose between your legs?
  14. Slider pins looked ok. I gave them a small grease but they moved in and out with little effort
  15. Ok have an issue here that bugs me when i drive my parents car. Its a 54 plate honda accord exec 2.0 petrol. When driving along one of the nearside brakes squeak on every rotation of the wheel. Not overly loud, but enough that i can hear it during town driving with the windows down. To add to this.. When driving along normally the car is fine, no bumps, knocks etc. Then i start the brake and a 'thudding' occurs.. Almost like your running over painted lines on the road... Again in time i think with the wheel rotation. So i took the front pads and discs off and everything looks ok. Pushed the piston in and let it come out.. It was free and not binding. I wire brushed the carriers, greased the back of the pad with copper slip. Short of buying new discs and pads.... Can you guys think of anything else i may have missed?
  16. I could only warch 3 minutes of that video. Want to bash the presenter over the head with his own mic
  17. She didnt understand the full facts of radiatio. And the substances that she was dealing with. Dealing with them for such long periods with no protective equipment would have destroyed her body. I do wonder if she had radiation burn from her experiments. Its unfortunate that such a pioneer died from the love of her own research. With her exposure im amazed her corpse isnt walking about
  18. Thats impressive Sag. But thats amazing customer service and to be honest the financial cost of that type of service will pay for itself through happy and returning customers
  19. Have you seen him driving though, or should i say low flying Oh i know! But still.. He used the avalible power... Who wouldnt on a car like this either... Hence back to my original question... What tyres will take the abuse of even 3000hp
  20. Thats great. Wonder what happens when they are: Cupped Motorboated Faced Eaten More tests required.. I volunteer!
