  5. Ok i've found a better solution... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KMAC-FRONT-...emZ250263248653 this kit uses the original wishbone but replaces the bushes with adjustable ones ... magic
  6. Tony from what i've been able to fing out, the CUSCO adjustable upper wishbones are to increase negative camber... what i need is to reduce the negative? am i mistaken? taken from a Tezza forum Update on the Cusco arms: There are four settings that it can be set to, through the use of 4 bolts on a sliding rail, and two locking bolts. The settings are stock, -4mm, -8mm and -12mm, with increasing negative camber respectively. cheers

  13. Thats brutal ... I know a woman that drove 10 miles home after the oil light came on .... She said "it did that sometimes but used to go off again" ...well she made it home but the engine was toast... what makes it worse is her Dad is a mechanic.... obviously she never took an interest in cars
  14. Imagine finding one of these in your bath tub ..... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5e95f77b1d http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=075_1175927944 spider V's mouse
  15. Good good other than that it's looking great and now you get a sense of scale ... looks massive
  16. i hope they didn't leave the sides like that where's the flashing to cover the exposed edges?
  17. From the factory.... Once fitted the RFT is the only tyre you can use unless you change all the suspension Why? are there statistics somewhere that show that punctures are very dangerous? won't this be bad for the environment? big thick tyres that are scrap even with a minor puncture... they probably weigh more too, worse for fuel economy? .... sometimes these Laws don't make logical sense
  18. so uprating the front alone will give better turn in as I wasn't originally thinking of doing the front as i thought it would make the problem worse... Front ARB is kind of beefy already but I was thinking of getting a hotchkis set from the states as the exchange rate is good these days, front are 56-61% over OEM and the rear have two holes as well with 144% or 227% http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...185143&rd=1 would they be over kill or just perfect? , i like the fact that they have nipples, i love nipples
  19. Hi all, Car is a Toyota Altezza 5AT on stock suspension.. as you know these are RWD and it has a Torsion LSD Cut a long story short.... my original 4 wheels were 215/45/17 and I've now got 225/45/17 on the front and 245/45/17 on the rear ... whats the problem i hear you scream... well i now have under-steer on a RWD, i was thinking of fitting uprated rear ARB's but would this make a difference and should fit a set instead ( front and rear)? It's not a problem as such but if i get on the power exiting a roundabout it now has a tendency to under-steer whereas before i felt i had more turn in ... would tyre pressures effect all this? as i don't know how much psi to put in them as their off an IS250 which is a heavier car to the altezza, they seem to be wearing correctly so i can't be too off the mark? tyres are half worn btw, still alot of grip left as you saw in my pothole thread i think the geometry is fine so..... basically i want sharper turn in without the car becoming dangerously tail happy, (abit of slide is fun though when no one is around) ... what to do? cheers and TIA

    Tyre sizes

Ya i wondered that in the begining... I would prefer all metric too, especially the % ratio bit... I never got where they were coming from with that...
