  1. I wouldn't mind seeing a close up of that fracture. It's possible you did the owner a good turn (no pun intended ) as there may have been an existing crack or deep stress raiser in the arm at the end of the nut which may have propagated and failed while driving. I suspect heat damage from a previous incident has weakened it and unfortuantely now it has snapped, i think the blow torch is used too frequently to overcome issues without thinking about the concequences to normal metal tempering
  2. Could be worse ... have to be a right d*** to drive this
  3. Very nice hopefully the manual works better i was in an Auto double cab version with the same 8.3lt viper engine and wasn't impressed with the performance... my brothers Merc ML320 diesel would kick it's ass, i think it must have been de-tuned for the paraplegic owner as i was expecting so much more ... they are MASSIVE though

    Project 5

How old is the car? that's a nice bit of rust
  5. I had to change a tyre recently because of a puncture, i was stuck in very slow moving trafic and didn't realise the front left tyre was almost flat, it only became obvious when i tried going around the roundabout where i couldn't stop safely so had to drive another 50 yards (very slowly) to a nearby carpark...I didn't think i had done any damage till i got to the garage and when they removed the tyre it was all grated up on the inside... pressure sensors would have saved me replacing a practlcally new tyre
  6. a taser can kill, an old lady like that could have a medical condition or even a pacemaker ... that cop has very poor communication skills and he should also cut back on the pork pies, then he'd have the energy to move the little old lady without shooting her
  7. I struck a bad pothole awhile back and the wheel was undamaged but the whole hub had moved backwards over an inch ...
  8. Never liked these yokes Lexus SC430 OEM rims
  9. Lovely pics btw ... what model is the silver one? looks fabulous i think
  10. 100% agree with Tony, mine was the same and since changing tyres again the steering wheel is spot on center again.. incidentally mine were F1's as well ... is this a flaw with them?
  11. What's your problem? not everyone on here is on the LOC as well?
  12. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load! didn't expect to see the Monster on there
  13. You take a 727 jet, throw it down on a Mercedes bus, and TA-DA, a Boeing 727 limo. It runs on the original Mercedes turbo diesel engine and weighs 24,000 pounds fully fueled. It's fairly long, at 53', and has a passenger capacity of about 50 people. All the crap you normally find in a limo is included -- like ceiling mirrors, bar, novelty lighting, televisions, etc. What's not included is the ability to fly. The thing just sold on eBay for $274,100, so it was kind of expensive. The only problem is that even if you do bang a couple hookers in it, you won't receive a Mile High Club membership. Because you're not a mile high. You're like a couple feet high. And maybe high on crack cocaine. and it doesn't even fly ....

    Oh Bugger

A bit of a bonus at Christmas does make you feel appreciated though and makes you forget any misgivings that happened during the year and you start off the new year in good spirit ... maybe that's just me

    Oh Bugger

  17. I think last time he got caught up trying to set the castor perfect, so to get the camber down to -15 i think some of the castor will have to go... would this be ok to do? thanks again
  18. I would have thought that there should be more adjust available as i fitted those upper wishbone camber bushings yokes to fix it last time ... Do you think something has changed/ moved since i got it set last time? would the camber settings in the print out above account for such wear in this few miles? few mates opinions is that the suspension is old and sagged so it's sitting lower that stock? would that be a influencing factor? cheers
  19. ya it's kind of sickening at this stage ..... sorry about the big pics but i had thumbnails to imageshack first but you get hit with loads of pop-ups ... cheers mate
