Tony
Mondeo ST 2007 Odd one this but becoming more common. This car has broken the rear trailing arm which is fortunately a redundant failure albeit a vital component.
P4UL T
Same car as I used to have! 😳 Nice to see HOTW back ðŸ‘🻠
adam_r
Tony. Please PLEASE keep HOTW coming. Missed it far too much. Can you provide more explanation around the break? It does not look in that bad a condition. Is there a hole drilled through the arm where it has broken (stress riser)?
NickT
As what others have said, keep HOTW updated, it'll be good to note for reference too
Tony
The demise of HOTW was because i was to ill to work at the centre but well on the mend now so i've been putting some hours in. Looking at the metal it was a fatigue brake with the OEM drilled hole starting the failure. Sad thing is as these cars age i expect to see more of this and there's no chance of a recall. Rich
Good to see a HOTW thread What was the hole in the arm for?
Tony
Not to sure... I think it's to clip the brake cable to?
