Tony
Twin wheel Transit Rear wheels We was asked to check the exhaust because there was a noise coming from the rear and the driver was getting sick and tired of the racket. After a test drive we agreed there was a terrible noise from the rear but it was the opposite side to the exhaust. With some simple deduction we found this....... Wheel studs Wheels I think most would agree it would take a lot of time and energy to do that to the studs and wheels and you would think the racket the loose wheels made the driver would think something is seriously wrong..... Seemingly not?

adam_r
Tony. Do you get directly involved when one of your guys finds a serious safety issue like this ? im amazed this passed an MOT as that must have been like that for quite a while
Tony
It did this to all six studs..... I do get directly involved with issues like this, normally it's to resolve the issue because other company's cannot find a particular complaint. In this case the reason was easily found.
