Sitting at lights in his Y reg Fiesta behind a flat bed lorry, woman hit him at 40mph cause she was changing the tape in her car and didn't see the lights were red. Roof was peeled off the fiesta from the windscreen halfway down the A pillar to the C pillar. Dad only survived cause the force of the impact broke the back of the drivers seat & he ended up lying with his head on the rear seats. Would have been decapitated otherwise. Shame didn't have mobile phone/camera in those days cause I took him to pick up some bits from the car at the breakers and was unbelievable.
