New tyres to the rear........ why?

When i worked for fast-fit the motive to move the fronts-to-rear was to gain extra wheel balance before the rears were put on the front :lol:

 

Another issue not mention in the vid is modern tyres adopt a profile according to the camber and weight distribution, when the tyres are moved they have to adopt another profile and in doing so they can distort ruining the tyre.
