Rich
The missus brother bought some used wheels off a tyre dealer as he needed some new tyres and they were cheap. The problem is the rears are too wide and are rubbing against the chassis on the inside, not on the arch. The tyres are 195/45/15. What size are the original wheels though, I think they're 13" but not too sure and what wheels will fit the 106 and will citroen ones fit? I'm assuming he can only go to 175, maybe 185 wide max, but can you fit 185 tyres on 15" rims or would he be better off looking for 14" ones instead? Tony
13" where 4x13/ 5x13/ 14" where 5.5x14/ 6x14, A 185mm tyre on a 15" is fine depending on the off-set.
Rich
Cheers, I think he will be better going for 14" wheels especially with no powersteering, it's like trying to steer a tank!
randominbread
I'd fit what ever size wheels and tyres are the cheapest for it, the right fitment of course. Save yourself some money, especially if you can get the wheels cheap because their common.
Rich
Yeah I've been looking at the gti ones they seem to go cheap enough. Trouble is being 18 his money don't last long! Especially when you're paying 3k insurance!
