Rich
Not watched as I'm at work but how does it work then?
Tony
Keeps that secret but it appears to scatter descending sizes of light beams at the wheels. It looks so time consuming plus it doesn't show how you adjust any angles while still allowing the system to see the adjustments
parthiban
What so there's no adjustment required from the guy operating? If so that is seriously cool but I'm a bit confused as to how it does it?

parthiban
So am i ..... It seems so long winded. If it works though, as a tech-freak I'm really impressed. It also means that you remove the element of human error/incompetence which is not necessarily good for WIM but great for the consumer. Tony
Agreed.... I think it would work well on a production line.
randominbread
Tony, is there a video of the machine you use?
phipck
wooooohw, slow down guys. it looks as though this equipment is simply a straight replacement for the equipment you currently use, the only difference is that you dont need to attach anything to the wheels to assess the alignment, hence the "touchless" part of the title. you will still need to get under the car and make adjustments to calibrate the chassis and all the other godly wizardry you guys perform, but this tecnology simple removes the need to attach anything to the cars wheels for getting a reading. it looks to simply 3d scan the area of the wheel, thats what the lights are, when its done that it does all the normal things any kit will do, minus the possability of fitting the units to the wheels incorrectly. I know wim wouldnt do that but other facilities im sure might!!!
