scorps Posted December 21, 2009 Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 Does anyone know what an ESC light on the dashboard on a Polo 1.4 Auto means,its the wifes car......it will almost certainly mean expensive and im guessing it has to go in to get the fault code to tell whats wrong.Its still driveable but the dreaded MOT is due in January, will it pass with this light on? scorps Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 Thanks Smartly, doesn't really help as there are quite a few reasons posted on there as to what it could be and the cars brake lights work fine. But im going to try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 an hour and see if that re-sets the ecu then do a check on the output of the battery as it looks a bit old and failing that i suppose it will have to go in and get a proper check..........after Xmas of course Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
