tunnie
I got my Omega WIM'd about a year ago, instant difference. Goes around corners like its on rails, i have been chucking it about a bit more, would that cause this tyre wear? I was thinking the wishbones could be on the way out? Also how are they legal wise? My understanding is that it should have the legal amount of tread across 75% of the tyre. That said, i cannot complain about them, they have done best part of 40k Thanks in advance
dazz33
Looking at the pics i would say its slightly out of alignment..but could also be because of under inflated tyres..? Tony should be able to tell you more...

Thanks, I has worn more since being WIM'd but thought that was down to chucking it around more + age Tyres are checked fairly often, i usually keep them at 31, they have dropped to 28 ish sometimes. Tony
Hi tunnie It's possible things have moved since we set the chassis, 40k on any tyres is a mighty fine result saying that your pushing the law with them now so i advise you replace them anytime soon. I got nearly 40k out of the current set, so can't complain really! Is it worth putting the rears on the front? As its a RWD car, so guessing its best to have the best tyres on the back? CIH
Wooo Eagle Venturas! Haven't seen them for a while! Are they still avaliable ? I believe letter of the law is 75% across the central three quarters with visible tread on the remaining quarter. Second picture is almost certainly illegal. Tony, can you still get these?

tunnie
Thanks for the call today No problem, although i just might have put a spanner in the works, i just double checked what tyres are on there now, they are 225 50 R16, i believe i quoted you 225 55 R16 on the phone. Do carry the 225 50 R16 in stock? Can 55/50's be mixed? My rears have plenty of tread left. Cheers
