car has been pukka since.but the other week i started gettin a bangin sort of rumble under my feet on some road's and also excesive tram lining. the tramlining i put down to goin up to 17 ince rim's.on investigation of lower arm's etc i found nothing that could cause the banging/rumble.after previous eperiance of the mondeo's woe's in life.i decided to check subframe bolt's to see if thay were tight.just for peice of mind  but to my horror,i found all 4 bolt's saugnificantly loose :) :)

i got almost 4 turn's per bolt before it was tight again :)

so ive re-alinged with tool and noise has gone :) but noticed a differance in how the car is behaving .... so presume it has knocked the setting's out abit and could also of been loose when you did it :) could i get away with a straight 4 wheel alingment or would it be time for another stint on the geo mechine

Same problem I had then, that tramlining you refer to, I experienced that on the M25 doing 70mph, I can honestly say it was a brown trouser moment! But then one bolt had come undone by an inch or two :)

You know the story with that bolt but as Tony said the others were smothered in locktite and I also bought 4 new bolts as they're only 6 quid :thumbsup_anim:

I must check mine this week, been a while since I did...
