simba
Hi, I bought a used 63 plate st3 about 3 weeks ago. Noticed the steering is very erratic, it pulls to the right constantly and I have to make constant corrections to the steering at any speed to keep the car in the correct lane. Took it to a mechanic for 4 wheel alignment and was 3 degrees out but even after doing this the steering is still terrible. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks

Tony
Hello....... 3 degrees in any angle is horrific and far from natural, what angle was it and can you display the geometry report so we can validate it for you.
liner33
They seem to have an issue, heard about it when i was researching them http://www.focusst.org/forum/focus-st-discussions/8571-steering-issue-poll.html
Tony
Interesting read but no conclusion.... I need to know what was 3 degrees out first, i'm thinking that was a typo and it was 3' or 3mm? What would interest me in that survey is the mileage between those who state there's no problem and those who have a problem. In addition during the tram-lining event at that moment of deviation is there any vibration?
