Sagitar
The roads are pretty clear with us, but the snow is hanging about on roofs and in gardens. The temperature over the past few days has moved daily between about zero and two or three centigrade. The thaw, freeze, thaw, cycles have left us with a lovely display of icicles on the edge of roofs. I took these snaps yesterday as I walked home from the local shops. Tony
Must say it's a nice area you live in...... Lovely images of unusually long icicles, was there many people walking under them
Rich
Lovely photos, what camera are you using on your walkabouts now? I saw a pretty impressive icicles hanging from our bin shed, it was at least 2 foot long.
parthiban
Where does the water come from to form the icicle? Is it just snow melting, dripping down and re-freezing or have you had quite wet weather? Awesome pictures either way!
Tony
I would say a slow, cold melt.
