adam_r
You have to love our local transport links here on the south coast, but the 2nd time in only a few months is taking the p*ss... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/local/bus-hits-portchester-railway-bridge-1-4727489
Rick101
Can cause massive delay on the railway too. 21 recorded incidents this week alone. Many more go unreported and unrecorded.
Tony
What speed was it doing to rip the entire roof off? I assume it was a new driver or new route.
Rich
It's clearly sign posted that the bridge is low! Reminds me of when I lived in Essex, there is a low bridge going into the village and while a bus can go under they need to use the middle of both lanes to clear it. One time someone didn't and the bus got stuck causing massive jams as it's the main route for the village. Going the other way took about 10-15 minutes longer! adam_r
the driver runs this route all the time... just not in a DD bus.. apparently the bus wasnt in service and returning to the depot... he must have been going atleast 25mph to do that damage.. parthiban
I think bus drivers need to have a basic intelligence test - no idea what else to say.
