  1. Yeah its the 2nd Saturday of the month. It wasn't very busy last month but the good weather had loads along to this one.
  2. Is that the one about 1:15 in the 2nd vid coming in? I had some still footage of some cars and some moving footage of some that i deleted as i ran out of space to record and started deleting stuff to get cars leaving. I'll have to delete alot of music before the next one i go too. A good turnout though. I think i saw your cars, i had got a bit low on space by then so i was only filming stuff leaving by then.
  3. Yeah, i think they had a few problems with the police years ago with people doing massive burnouts. Everyone keeps it calm now and the police rarely even come along now.
  4. Yeah i should have probably put american in the title like on the videos . Classic 911, 944 and 928 though .
  5. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load! Please wait a few moments for Video to Load!
  6. Does the Prius not regenerate the battery when braking? I imagine this reduces the load on the pads.
  7. Pretty much anything that is innovative gets purchased by whoever has the most money to lose from its existence, eg oil companies.
  8. Mine probably wouldn't be much better in rush hour traffic to be honest.
  9. Your car does under 8 mpg .
  10. Those are pretty wide roads compared to the Harewood Hillclimb.
  11. Video by Harry TBAG1234 . His head span round like an owl. Maybe he can get a job at a club somewhere, lol.
  12. 20w50 for the Porsche.
  13. Probably for the best. Dont want you on that slip road again with even more power .
  14. Does it run better with fresh ones?
  15. All new cars are washed/valeted before going on the forecourt or in the showroom. Yeah I know that, I meant only washed once...just shows how much damage a gritty sponge can do!! Could get regular wipedowns to keep the dust off in the show room. peoples sticky fingermarks etc with a dirty cloth with bits of grit etc.
  16. Maybe i should join them. I've never tried drifting but i wouldn't mind a cheap set of Falkens . Probably couldn't afford a cheap set .
  17. They are super low profile, rubber band tyres. No air needed, .
  18. Said from $630,000 in the article.
  19. I'd leave it in drive at the lights rather than put it in neutral unless the manual specifically states it. Also most will only allow you to start the engine in p or n so if the car wont start check you have it in the correct place. You will have to train yourself if you plan to use the left foot for braking, you'll likely smack the windscreen if you first try doing it at any kind of speed without practise. The lower gears are usually used for engine braking downhill with a trailer for example. Also for fast starts at the lights . Also you may prefer the feel of the lower gears as more connected when driving as in drive the car will often go to the highest number gear it can as quickly as it can if not much throttle hence why they are known as slush boxes as they really feel held back and lethargic so a quick gear drop can make a huge difference to the feel and the directness of the throttle pedal. In queues the manual says you should put it in 2, i imagine to stop the TC slipping too much from the higher gears with all that torque on tap. My Porsche only has D 3 2 but no 1. It seems if you are still when you select 2 it will start in first gear and hold it even at high rpms in first but if you select 2 while moving it drops to 2nd gear and holds it. Auto's accelerate very much on how much pressure you apply as well as how fast you apply it. You could slowly accelerate in 4th and have your foot to the floor if done slowly, or you could have dropped into 2nd and be flying off if you put your foot down very quickly. It will take some time to get used to it.
  20. Well done, will they get geometry done by you as well?
  21. PAX still exists and may get stronger since the RFT is despised, fitting the PAX adds around £70 to the tyre cost, which compared to the RFT is still a great saving. How much weight does this system add compared to normal or run flat tyres on normal alloys? Also what happens if you need a replacement tyre when you have a quick weekend trip to Monaco and need that new tyre before you head home?
  22. I called up to have a look at some 205 width tyres and whether i can go to 205 50 or 60 which are quite common winter sizes or not. Hopefully get a call back soon.
  23. Yeah, when i went to the shops at lunchtime. Massive queues. One person went from near that roundabout to Bradford, a 30-40min drive normally at that time and it took him just less than 5 hours.
