  1. Who on earth buys a diesel then changes the exhaust, .
  2. Someone on Pistonheads is after some countach tyres, sounded like Harry Metcalfe from EVO magazine is after some tyres as well, could get a mention in the mag if you can get some. Might be worth checking out. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic...=Countach+tyres
  3. It was a pun on the sultans of swing . Guess it failed.
  4. Just make sure that if its oiled it doesn't affect a MAF etc.
  5. If its at too high a voltage, the voltage regulator might have been damaged by the oil, maybe the alt just needs a clean and a new voltage regulator.
  6. Alot of people learn to adapt, especially if its their passion. I guess it is in their interest to learn to do it as best they can if they enjoy it.
  7. Watching the top vid plenty of cars have no belt, with alot of these cars you are better being thrown out than having the car roll over on top of you being held in at the waist. Alot of these cars are so narrow, there really isn't anywhere to mount a belt. Takes serious guts to drive these cars. One was being driven up the hill by a person with one arm, big respect for that, not easy hanging on, steering and changing gear with levers at the same time.
  8. If you check out the pictures again you'll notice that pretty much none of the open cars have any belts. I doubt they were legal requirements at the time.
  9. Thanks, definitely alot of moneys worth there. Someone fell out of their car at the s bends but hopefully they have recovered, quite a few owners of these cars are older gentlemen (the only people who can afford them) stopped the racing for about an hour while the driver was taken away.
  10. Absorbed by the sound, or scared of the camera, lol. http://markh.talkaudiohosting.co.uk/cars/H...11/classic.html Are 149 of the photos i took.

  12. Nice pictures. Have you noticed the similar plates on the enzo and 599 gto? If you look carefully you will notice that the surround on the enzo says 599 gto and the surround on the 599 gto reads enzo. Someone put them on the wrong way round, .

  14. THE YORKSHIRE BIG BREAKFAST meet. They rise money for charity by selling bacon sandwiches etc and let people look around the paintshop, workshop and salesroom. They do 2 meets a year.
  15. No, there was a police car that drove down, which is when i finished filming, lol.
  16. It was good. Here are some of the cars leaving. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load!
  17. I've never used collinite but the Zymol goes on easily. I've already washed and clayed it and waxed it and this was a 2nd waxing. I actually washed it the day before as well as my dads and neighbours car . So just gave it a quick rinse, dried it off, then started waxing each panel by hand. You just put a small amount of wax in your hand, rub it round until it melts, then spread it around a bodywork panel, you can feel when its spread out and wont go further, then you leave it for a little while, maybe 1 min in hot sunlight to 10-15min in the shade, then buff it off with a microfibre cloth. Although you cant wash the micro fibre cloth anymore as it repels all water, lol, impressive beading on it though . I think glasur is around 51% yellow carnuba wax with no white content. I'm definitely happy with it. Thought i would give it the 2nd layer as it was good weather and i just cleaned it the day before as i live next to a main road so it gets filthy overnight, then if it rains it picks up the dust into blobs of water then dries with dirty blobs all over the car. So decided to do another layer before the Yorkshire Big Breakfast on Sunday. I'll just give it a rinse Saturday evening now. Think its about £100 a tub now , i think mine was £90 but i purchased loads of stuff when a dealer was shutting so it was half price iirc so about £45. It was the only wax they had left, so i bought it even though i didn't have a Porsche at the time, lol. Guess i must have known something back then.
  18. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load! Nice and easy to wash and dry now.
  19. Should hopefully be there. You should come to the Malton Big Breakfast next weekend.
