Lexus IS200 tyre wear......

Recommended Posts

The OEM front camber should be -30', this cars position was -45' and the checking range (no wear expected) so say Lexus is up to -60'.

This tyre had done less than 3k.... It was probably a nick at 2.5k

A new tyre has around 7mm of tread.... This one as you can see still had 6.32mm on it's high edge.

So that equates to around £110 (per tyre) for .68mm of wear :D ......... And Lexus say this wear is normal

Cant you just turn the tyres around.....then they can run on the unworn side thus doubling there mileage.

PS I am Joking............................although by looks of it it would work!

Yes you can do but it was to late for this fellow :D

Looked like mine at first, even down to the new rubber nipples on the walls of tyres

See you in July Tony for some much needed WIM Surgery mate, the rear wiggles like crazy under heavy acc even at 70+

See as the car is going to be used more, it's worth sorting out, been like this for a while but the car only does about 1K per year over the last couple of years
