If you follow it up on Youtube there's a really good interview with the driver explaining he took 2 months to get ready for the record attempt. He said he could control the pitch of the car while he was in the air (for all of 3-4 secs!) by accelerating to pitch up, and braking to pitch down. Now I can understand the car pitching up with the 'gyro' effect from the rear wheels rotating under power, but I don't understand how applying the brakes in mid-air would cause it to pitch down Don't think I'll try it myself though, I'll take his word for it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
