Tony
(No images for this one) An Omega owner travelled from the Midlands to us in London for us to calibrate the chassis to our settings. Unfortunately the OSF track rod end was worn, so although we could set the rest of the chassis the toe would need to be re-set up north. The end was changed but then i had a call from the owner..... "Tony, something is very wrong!!", apparently after the end was fitted and the "tracking" done on a full lock the steering would stay there. Remotely my thoughts are, wrong end, wrong alignment or the end fitted upside down. After dismissing a wrong end and incorrect fitting i advised the owner took the car to another alignment centre, which he did and all was deemed well. Since the car had an obvious problem the owner decided to drive down to us again, we measured the chassis only to find the OSF toe a degree wrong ( that's loads ) I fail to understand how two company's got this terminally wrong? Rich
If the other 2 did tracking then it would be wrong wouldn't it?
Tony
Seemingly the first place that set it used laser, which is all it needed, the second place did a full geo but the owner wasn't given a printout
