hms
Bought the PPC mag as there is an article on 'Suspension Geometry - the basics explained' There is a drawing captioned Swivel Axis inclination, which shows KPI and is referred elswhere as SAI. Is Swivel axis inclination an accepted term? Never heard of that before? Trying to work my way through the rest of the article! h
Tony
Swivel axis inclination is also known as a 'Delta curve", it's a German complication added to the steer axis.

luke1987
Pratical Performance Car. One of the contributors has that 27ltr SD1. Decent mag but their technical fetures usually have the odd mistake.

Tony
SAI is actually Steering Axis Inclination, not Swivel axis inclination........ Looks like the mag got it wrong again

Random fact: my old wheels were bought off a Now-ex ppc contributor. these  he was building a supercharged Lexus-v8 S13 200sx.

CIH
Pop by WIM sometime and you can have my copy rich mate.  Cheers Pete will do  So when you bringing the Silvia down?  Dunno. I really need to take a little van up there and clear all my parts stash first. When I say "clear" obviously that means clutter up WIM Hq lol... Rich
Thanks for the mag Pete, the article was a good read. So apart from the mistakes Tony pointed out what did we think of it?
CIH
doesn't give any indication how the angles interact, but then they'd never get it all in a few pages. I like PPC so I don't mind letting them off with tech mistakes.
Rich
I still think it was a good read and explained the angles well.
