Do you keep winter tyres in stock Tony?

My Uncle purchased my MR2 off me but he will need to get to work in winter and in light snow the car was shocking to drive with the lack of weight on the front. So we were thinking he would be best off with some winter tyres.

We could do with a cheap set of 15" oem rev 3 MR2 wheels for them to go on but will keep a look out for a set.

i found my n/a mr2 to be ok in the snow on 17" toyo t1's. Taking it steady as you should and slow smooth inputs i was fine this last winter........untill a lady drove into the back of me not concentrating.......her engine was on her front wheels and it didnt help her at all! <_<

No we don't stock them at the moment but we have our name on significant stockpiles, these we can call on at anytime.

Do you usually get the same size tyres or slightly narrower for winter tyres?

225/50/15 rears

205/50/15 fronts

Standard fronts are 195 width which is probably better in this weather than 205 with the low weight up front. Probably add some sand or similar up front to add a bit of weight.

Would you be able to give me a price for a couple of different options in this size. They would need to be delivered unless one of the more local stations opens in the next couple of months and we can find a cheap set of standard MR2 rev3 alloys to put them on.

When i went to stop with the current tyres on i just glided past my house with little if any breaking effort at all. Not good.
